Outreach Representatives: We need people to go to off-refuge events, to talk with people about Aransas NWR, and the Friends of Aransas NWR. These are usually nature related events, and can be anywhere in the Coastal Bend area, and are usually on a Saturday. You can sign up to help with the events you’re interested in doing. We usually have two people per event, and all the materials you need are provided. 

Pollinator Garden:  Volunteers are needed to help with the pollinator garden. Changes to the Refuge road around the parking area required moving the fence of the garden to allow a new sidewalk to be created. The path inside the garden will also need to be moved. In the meantime, the plants (welcome and unwelcome) are growing well and need our attention! Regular workdays are the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, starting 8:00 AM and usually running 2 hours. Bring your favorite gardening tools, water and insect repellent. 

Fundraising: We would love to have someone with a talent and interest in planning fundraising events or campaigns. The more funds we can raise, the more we can help the refuge.
