Nature Photography Club News and Activities

The Club’s next photo shoot is the weekend of February 20-21.   We are also planning a photography trip on the Skimmer in March. 

FAMI now has a modern DSLR camera and two lenses, thanks to two recent donations!

A Livejournal site has been set up for posting photos, distributing information about tips and techniques, and soliciting constructive feedback from other members;

We have been given permission to create a display in the Visitor’s Center highlighting Club activities and photographs.

Who We Are

A group of photographers of all skill levels promoting appreciation for the natural environment of the Aransas and Matagorda Island area through nature and wildlife photography. The club is sponsored by the Friends of Aransas and Matagorda Island Wildlife Refuges (FAMI) and open to all individuals with a desire to learn more about nature and wildlife photography and to help achieve the clubs objectives of teaching photography to all age groups.
